Athletic surface installation foreman

Carpell is looking for an experienced athletic surface installation foreman for projects in Ontario.

Duties:

– Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of athletic surface installers;

– Co-ordinate of workers and sub-contractors to ensure that the projects are completed on schedule;

– Inspect athletic surfaces to ensure product quality and craftmanship, and co-ordinate the application of corrective measures as needed;

– Train workers to perform job duties as per company procedures and requirements;

– Draft and submit work progress reports;

– Resolve on-site work or supply issues to ensure a high level of productivity and product quality.

Terms of employment: Full-time (40 hours per week), temporary (4 years) position with possibility of permanent position

Language requirements: Must be able to communicate orally in English

Skills requirements :

– Must have high-school diploma;

– Must have at least 5 years of experience as Athletic surface installation foreman with polyurethane sandwich system athletic surfaces;

– Must have necessary social skills to maintain good relations with clients, work crews and suppliers;

– Must be available to travel throughout Ontario for prolonged durations in order to supervise projects across the province.
