The Boeing Company is currently hiring for a senior F-15 Japan Super Interceptor Project Engineer (Level 5) The F-15 JSI Project Engineer provides a systems engineering and integration perspective to the program leadership team and assists in execution of the program.

JSI is a complex program whose primary objective is to execute massive upgrades to current F-15J aircraft.

Upgrades includes installing elements of an Advanced Cockpit System (ACS), upgraded RADAR and Electronic Warfare solutions.

The program has elements that include both Foreign Military Sale (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) contract types.

The F15 JSI Project Engineer position reports to the F-15 SEIT Manager, in the SSM F-15 Engineering organization.

This position is a 1st shift located in Saint Louis, MO.

Position Responsibilities: Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers.

Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements.

Works with customers and management to obtain approval.

Responds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedules.

Leads project execution to complete the work statement.

Identifies performance metrics.

Plans, identifies, and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or program.

Defines plans for risk mitigation and opportunity.

Compares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learned.

Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.

Works under minimal direction.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

An interim and/or final U.S.

Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Qualifications): Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry Minimum of one year of Project Management experience Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience working on Avionics systems Experience with F-15 aircraft systems Experience with System Requirements Experience working with DOORS to do requirements management Earned Value Management Experience Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.

Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

PhD9 years’ related work experience, Master12 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
