is seeking a results-driven and self-motivated part-time, temporary Public Relations Director who will act as a senior strategic contact for clients and provide direction and guidance to internal teams.

The ideal candidate is ambitious and should have management experience in developing teams and overseeing employee performance.

The PR Director will be instrumental in advising on Startr Co.‘s media relations and influencer marketing strategy, keeping current clients happy and successfully onboarding new clients.

This position is ideal for a candidate who has senior level experience and wants to contribute to a thriving team, but desires a more flexible schedule.

This position is a long term (6+ months) temporary position with potential for longer term opportunity.

The ideal candidate has 8-10 years of experience (and substantial agency experience) working directly with both the C-suite and marketing executives within the food & beverage, lifestyle, family/parenting, and franchise categories.

This position reports directly to the CEO.

The PR Director will be responsible for: Maintaining positive, strong client and employee relationships Researching, understanding and anticipating client needs, and identifying ways to provide value-added service Ensuring departments (and staff at all levels) meet goals and exceed expectations Providing high level strategy and input for both client campaigns and team growth Staying informed of industry trends and making timely recommendations to optimize agency/ teamwork Coaching team members to encourage individual growth and use of skillsets Directly overseeing management and campaign execution Making informed recommendations on staffing and business Taking an active role in anticipating and planning for staffing needs Setting budgets and allocating appropriate staff for accounts with knowledge and authority Sensitively dealing with confidential company information Traveling to meet with new and existing clients as needed Attending trade shows and events on behalf of clients and Startr Co.

Assisting with the creation of Startr Co.

internal documents, marketing materials, proposals, etc.

Bringing strong ideas that will contribute to staff development and company development/growth Reporting updates to the CEO as needed Requirements: BA in Mass Communications, Public Relations, or related field 8-10 years of PR Experience (Majority agency experience) Ability to act as the utmost senior contact on accounts Strong employee management experience Strong writing, research and organizational skills Self starter, able to work without a great deal of direction Thrives in fast-paced PR environment Ability to grasp “big picture” ideas and think independently Excellent interpersonal skills Professional appearance and demeanor Positive attitude
