So can you, in this vital role: SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST ASSISTANT (SLPA) California Psychcare (CPC), a division of 360 Behavioral Health and associated companies are leading providers in behavioral services, currently serving consumers across 28 different branch locations, and 10 Southern California Regional Centers.

In addition to utilizing highly effective behavioral services, CPC also provides comprehensive early intervention services and speech therapy to clients ages 3 and younger.

Essential Functions: Undertake the treatment of speech and language disorders under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.

Implement and follow patient treatment plans as designed by the supervising speech-language pathologist in a one-on-one setting in the family home or in the community, depending on the specific needs of the individual child.

Perform all other speech-language pathology assistant duties as assigned.Provide direct support services for Regional Center eligible clients ages 3 and younger, who may demonstrate developmental delays in one or more of the following developmental areas communication, cognition, motor, adaptive/self-help and/or social-emotional.Have knowledge and expertise in special education and speech and language treatment areas.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited speech-language pathology program.Current or eligible for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License issued by the California State Licensing Board.Experience in specific areas such as language disorders, speech sound disorders, autism, and/or dysphagia.Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and techniques of speech and language treatment.
