Account Manager

ESI Technologies

This is a Full-time position in Toronto, ON posted February 14, 2019.

Job Description :

  • Develop new business relationships with new clients according to market sectors (vertical) and/or geographical sectors;
  • Leverage and grow existing business;
  • Lead contract negotiation and close business;
  • Evaluate and understand the clients’ issues in order to fully recognize potential opportunities and to recommend innovating technological solutions (aided by technical specialists);
  • Use financial analysis to evaluate strategic options;
  • Develop and execute account sales strategy;
  • Establish a professional, working, and consultative relationship with the client at C level for mid to large accounts by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5+ years proven consultative selling experience, preferably selling technology products or services to large companies
  • Excellent client/partner network/Communication skills/Presentation and organization skills/Creativity/Customer focused
  • Ability to manage an opportunity (from the qualification stage to after-sales service, including the stages of proposition and signing)
  • Uses knowledge of technology, products, processes, industry expertise, and consultative sales skills to assess and educate customers on value of data centre infrastructure and management.
  • “Sense” of business and understand the language of business in the IT sector
  • During interview, the account manager will need to demonstrate competence by means of a presentation of his or her history of major accomplishments and by presenting an action plan with regard to a future with ESI Technologies
  • Knowledge in the field of networking and integration solutions (Security, Infrastructure, Storage, Microsoft solutions, etc.);
  • Understanding of and ability to summarily describe the following solutions: SAN, NAS, high-availability environments, clusterization, business continuity, etc
  • Understanding of and ability to summarily describe the range of solutions proposed by important industry players: Microsoft, Solaris, Cisco, Checkpoint, Symantec, HP, NetApp, etc
