Software engineer – (go)


This is a Full-time position in Cupertino, CA posted December 31, 2019.

Company Description: Our client in Cupertino is a leader in the mutli cloud mutli cluster space who is growing and looking to find developers who share a passion for container orchestration and kubernetes.

The company that offers the chance to work on widely used open source software and to work on brand new product builds.

They provide a great total package including equity, the chance to work on new product builds and really a place to grow and learn (especially in the Go and Kubernetes space) Job Description: In this role you will develop custom back end software for their software product.

The ideal candidate will have production Go/Golang experience but if you want to learn Go and have a strong open source software engineering background that’s more backend focused (Python, Java, Ruby, NodeJS, C++ etc) .

This is also an opportunity to grow with the company as they continue to scale, so if you have experience doing code reviews, working as a lead developer and mentoring junior developers this could be a great spot for you.

Requirements: 2+ years of experience software engineering experience 2+ years of production experience with backend open source development (Python, NodeJS Ruby Java, C++ or obviously Go/GoLand) Experience with API’s Experience with CI/CD Experience with Cloud (private or public) Ideally have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices and other system level concepts Experience working in an opensource environment Experience in building maintainable and well tested code Any experience doing code reviews and/or mentoring junior developers would be great A four year BS/BA degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related technical field would be a preference but not required Benefits: Casual environment Equity Options 100% paid full family benefits 10% bonus
