Head of influencer partnerships and marketing

Shoppies is a venture-backed platform for content creators to start their own D2C businesses.

In this role, you will grow a supportive and inspiring community of influential women, help influencers earn more money and become entrepreneurs, and build the Shoppies brand.We are a team of 8.

Three of us work out of a sunny and spacious co-working space and the rest are dotted around the US (and one in Spain). This role is a combined influencer partnerships, marketing, and branding role.

We’re a startup and a small team, so you’ll have to be comfortable being a generalist and having a scope of work both junior and senior.

However, you can expect to be responsible for:Influencer partnerships/business development: Everything to do with creator accounts from identification to campaign managementCreate target profiles and listsSource and onboard new creatorsManage relationships, get creator feedback, make recommendations to product teamManage campaigns; ensure targets and timelines are met, help creators optimize their businessThink of creative ways to onboard influencers at scaleAssist in building and implementing our referral programManage partnerships which onboard new influencers at scaleOwn creator recruiting goalsOwn creator success goalsMonitor and report on KPIs, take the lead on improving our performanceSet up and manage our CRM; keep up-to-dateCreate business development guidelines and onboarding docs for future hires; set up business development department for scaleMarketing and branding: Everything to do with Shoppies marketing from ideation to execution to performance improvementManage all content marketingDay-to-day publishing across all social media channels, newsletterWrite compelling copy based on brand voice and toneEnsure content is consistent across channelsCreate, develop, and edit high-quality photo and video contentCoordinate with designer, coordinate and manage photo and video shootsManage ad campaigns.

Create, monitor, and optimize display ad campaign performanceMaintain our sites.

Optimize pages for SEO, add new content, ensure web copy is up-to-date, aligned with marketing objectives and brand is consistent across siteMonitor and report on all KPIs, take the lead on improving our performanceStay on top of industry trends and best practices, research and report on competitorsCreate editorial plan, marketing and branding guidelines, onboarding docs for future hires; set up marketing department for scaleTrack and optimize KPIs, understand funnels, drive growthWe are open to you being in San Francisco or working remotely.

You will have one person under you in this role (expect this to grow) and will report to CEO both in San Francisco. Hard requirements:experience with influencer or affiliate marketingdata-driven approach to marketing ability to develop and execute an inspiring brand storyOther requirements: 3-10 years experience in both BD and marketing roles for beauty-focused e-commerce and/or influencer marketing company.

Experience that gave you holistic understanding of business development, account management, content marketing, social media (specifically Instagram and YouTube), branding, and how they work togetherExperience managing others and managing yourselfProficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, photography and videography tools and basics.
