Marketing Analyst Great opportunity for an early career marketing data analyst to join the marketing team of one of the most well-known social platforms.

The role is within the global digital marketing team who is responsible for creating, spotlighting and distributing ideas, content & messages to our advertising customers among brands and agencies via our owned & operated digital marketing channels: website, email marketing, and social.

This person and team plays an important role in marketing initiatives and campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, adoption & growth of our solutions and demonstrate that we have the most valuable audiences on our channel.

As a Marketing Data Analyst, your expertise will support and shape data-driven marketing strategies and decision-making with the goal of helping us better understand our business impact as well as providing insights into our customers, their behaviors and intent.

Additional responsibilities: Hands-on and deep dive in quantitative analysis, data mining and interpretation in order to help us translate business challenges into relevant and rigorous analytical initiatives that you will drive & execute.

Directly contribute to critical efforts and projects around cleaning-up and improving our customer and marketing data hygiene, completeness, and accuracy.

Create, maintain and improve internal data sets, define the right metrics, reporting, dashboarding, and visualizations on the performance and state of our digital marketing campaigns, channels, and customers Develop attribution, lookalike and propensity modeling for customer segmentation & targeting purposes.

Work with Digital Marketing team and Global Business Marketing stakeholders to provide analytical support for key initiatives and strategic projects.

Translate complex concepts to help inform and influence cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.

Be a self-starter, but work and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, sales & operations, and IT/engineering.

Skills: 3-5+ years of experience working in a deeply analytical role in marketing required Experience supporting digital marketing initiatives within a B2B organization preferred Expert hands-on skills and direct experience querying and working with unruly and multiple large datasets using SQL languages.

Experience with at least one programming language (R, Python, etc).

Statistical and analytical expertise creating models for attribution and/or lookalike or persona development, running correlative analysis, as well as strong data visualization experience.

Expertise in multi-touch attribution and marketing mix modeling & measurement.

Familiarity working with CRM, sales, marketing and/or analytics platforms (Examples: Salesforce, Eloqua, Marketo, Vertica, Google Analytics, Excel, Tableau, etc) Bachelor’s degree required in Math/Statistics, Computer Science/Engineering, Business or related field.

Duration: This is a 1 year long contract with the possibility of converting to the company’s payroll Location: On-site in SF required Local candidates preferred, no relocation offered No sponsorship offered
