Our client is an award-winning architectural, engineering, and planning firm seeking a Marketing Coordinator for their San Francisco office.

This position will work closely with the Marketing Manager, marketing team, Director of Marketing, Principals/Market Sector Leaders and Business Developers to develop, coordinate and support the qualifications/proposal and interview process.ResponsibilitiesAttends local/regional and industry events; builds relationships with peersBuilds and maintains strong relationships with Segment teams Builds and maintains strong relationships with the Marketing team, participating in weekly meetings, sharing ideas and being a support/resource for team members as necessary In partnership with Marketing Manager, develops and maintains a budget spreadsheet for each event and works to stay on budget Responsible for marketing collateral and any promotional items needed Manages the regional award programsMonitors the relevant awards/due dates each year Communicates with team to confirm project submissions Coordinates with other marketing team members and/or project team members to complete submission Complete submissionTracks wins/lossesCoordinates with Marketing Administrator in Corporate Office to assist with anything needed for national award submissions Requirements Marketing concepts, practices, procedures, communications processes and techniquesExcellent proposal development skills with an emphasis on writing and editingLead a proposal and be responsible for managing all aspects of that proposal as well as providing overall quality assuranceMeet schedules and organize complex materialUnderstand technical/professional service-related materialWork with minimal supervisionProvide a high level of attention to detail and handle multiple deadlines, working independentlyWrite and edit project summaries, resumes of project personnel and other supporting materialsPerform detailed marketing proceduresBe highly organized, creative and solution-orientedDemonstrate flexibility in working with a variety of team members, including firm principals and project leaders, to meet dynamic project demandsMeet project deadlines Communicate effectively with communications project ownersEmail and voicemail etiquetteSkill in written and verbal communication and ability to ask for direction or information
