Navitas Semiconductor is a venture back startup creating the world’s first & fastest integrated GaN Power ICs for Fast mobile chargers, wireless charging, solar, data centers and many other products.

Navitas AllGaN™ Power ICs enable power systems to run up to 100x faster than traditional silicon, while delivering 5x higher power density, 40% greater energy savings and 20% lower system costs.

Navitas was founded in 2013 and is located in El Segundo, CA.

We are currently seeking a Technician to assist our test engineering activities in this exciting new field of GaN power ICs.

In this role, reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will work in a fast-paced environment to test and evaluate engineering samples in preparation of releasing of the world’s first GaN Power ICs.PART-TIME with flexible hours with the opportunity to become full-time over time if candidate desires.Pay: $17 $28 hourly (based on experience)Basic High school diploma or GED required.

Some college classwork Knowledge/experience working with electrical components and/or systems.

Must have a strong work ethic and demonstrate dependability and timeliness.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.


Must have computer knowledge and able to operate all MS Office programs.

Must possess strong troubleshooting skills.Required Associate’s degree (A.

S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Electronics and Engineering environment.

Possess IPC-A-610 class 2 soldering skills.

In order to remove and replace resistors, inductors, discrete semiconductors and integrated circuits for trouble shooting purposes Semiconductor assembly background is preferred and a plus Knowledge on PCB schematic entry and layout (preferably Cadence Orcad or Allegro) is a plus.

Proficiency of laboratory equipment like oscilloscope, multimeters, and signal generatorsJob Repetitive testing of semiconductor components Ability to follow test and checkout procedures to certify proper functionality Assembles / disassembles basic test components Set-up and conduct tests and records data to assist with engineering analysis.

Preparing documentation of test results or of test discrepancies, and performing the troubleshooting and failure analysis of the hardware.

Uses hand bench and power tools and measuring instruments, including transducers, oscilloscopes, virtual instruments and test boxes.

Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities Experience running tests with Labview is a plus
