Autocad draftsman

This is a Full-time position in San Francisco, CA posted September 6, 2019.

Job Title: Autocad Draftsman (2-D)Based: North Texas (Frisco, TX)Position Reports to: Waterproofing Sales Manager & PresidentJob Purpose: Create, edit, and revise accurate Division 7 CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions and some site visits.

Provide customers with accurate and detail-oriented service.

General knowledge of roofing and waterproofing terms and designs is a plus.

Responsibilities: Responsible for creating accurate CAD drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions and some site visits.Creating and continually updating project drawings listsSystematically saving sketches and drawings on our CAD server; keeping the server organized; updating project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made.Exhaustively reviewing and checking sketches and drawings for errors, before being sent to architects, subcontractors, project managers, etc.Create, edit, and update standard details for use in projects.Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancementsAccommodate safety procedures and issues in installation and construction drawings Knowledge and Skills Required:A two-year degree in Computer Aided Drafting.Minimum 1-year experience in a CAD Operator role.Outstanding fluency and skill within the AutoCAD program.Excellent communication skills; listening, comprehension, and feedback.Construction Industry Experience a huge plus Compensation: $35-40k + benefits.

Compensation package is commensurate with experience, proven performance and aptitude for position.
