Whether you are just beginning to think about your next job or have already decided to make a meaningful move, we want to talk to you.ITC Service Group (“ITC”) , is seeking an experienced Business Analyst in Citrus Heights, CA. The Business Analyst works in close partnership with the IT Business Solution Architect, Systems Analysts, Business Process Owners, Developers, and End Users, to optimize and automate business processes and associated business applications.

The position plays a critical role in identifying opportunities to add business value, pursue improved or new technology functionality, and drive the maximum level of standardization of technology across the entire corporation.This position plans, designs, oversees development, and deploys efficient information systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes.

This includes developing business cases, gathering detailed business and systems requirements and user stories/journeys.

The BA is responsible for change control and causal analysis related to issues with existing systems.

This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:Learn, evaluate, analyze, and understand current state business processes.Use knowledge of best practices and functional expertise within the assigned business areas to drive change in the organization through technology and business process redesign, maximizing the return on investment of our Business Systems.As project assignments allow, participate in the support/analysis/resolution of critical production application issues to protect end users’ ability to run the business.Actively participate in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Change Control processes, including: requirements gathering and translation, analysis, documentation of functional and technical design specifications, solution design, development oversight, testing/Conference Room Pilots, sign-off, training, and implementation.Understand, validate, and document business needs, distinguish between needs and wants, identify gaps between business needs and standard business system functionality, design specification for developers as appropriate.Develop, document, and fully execute test plans to assess the integrity and accuracy of business processes, module functionality setups and modifications, enhancements/customizations, and patches.Manage projects throughout entire SDLC.Identify/document tasks/deliverables, create project schedules, assign tasks, perform project oversight, and provide project status.Work with management/team members/users to ensure project stays on schedule and negotiate/adjust resources and priorities.Develop and maintain end user training documentation and deliver training/demos/presentations as required.Develop and maintain business process documentation in flowchart and narrative form as necessary to support regulatory compliance.Help to establish team priorities based on statutory requirements, financial impact, and operational impact to the business.Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.Personal Qualities:Possess significant business acumen; speak in business-friendly terms.Strong experience in project management and working within an SDLC methodology.Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional systems and big picture thinking the ability to see how parts interact with the whole.Solid experience in analyzing, documenting and optimizing business processes through the use of technology.Strong leadership qualities and the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources (including upper management, external customers and suppliers, business units and functional organizations) and ensure alignment to achieve project objectives and outcomes.Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating.Act as a change agent in pursuit of moving business and IT strategies forward.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All candidates are subject to a mandatory pre-employment background check, drug screen, physical exam, and must possess and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Required Experience7+ years’ experience as a business analyst.5+ years’ experience in ERP, CRM and PPM technology.3+ years’ experience in data extraction, report writing and data migration activities.4+ years of project planning skills that include: project coordination and management, planning and scheduling, time management and the ability to handle multiple deadlines.Thorough knowledge of business processes, specifically Sales, Project Management, Field Service Management and Finance & Accounting.
