Business development specialist

This is a Full-time position in Poway, CA posted December 13, 2019.

Position: Business Development Analyst Location: Poway, CA 92064 Fulltime Role / Contract to Hire for 6 months.

This is a great opportunity for a dynamic individual who wants mentorship and broad exposure to the world of Government business and technology.

CCS Government division supports several world-class organizations including City and County of San Francisco, San Francisco International Airport, Los Angeles Unified School District, State of Kansas and several other state and local government initiatives.

You will gain hands-on knowledge in areas such as Enterprise Technology, Consulting, Cloud Services, Information Technology Professional Services, Sales Development, Business Operations, and Leadership.

Responsibilities of the Business Development Intern:
•Compiling reports, spreadsheets, and preparing presentations for Government operations.

•Help with RFP (Request for Proposal) Coordination from initial review to submission.

•Helping with printing, organizing, and submission of proposals.

•Handling submission and mailing the proposals while keeping proper records.

•Research & data collection including researching specific topics and presenting to the team when necessary.

•Gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments.

•Help with the implementation and execution of our agency communications and partnership plan.

•Help with Partner Outreach via Phone & Email.

•Help with coordination between different teams.

•Completing other inquiries when appropriate.

Qualifications for the Business Development Intern:
•Experience in a startup is a plus.

•Organizational skills.

•Ability to work well independently.

•Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•Attention to detail and accuracy for data entry, word processing, and records management.

•Ability to quickly learn and adapt.

•Ability to manage multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.

•Ability to identify, proactively manage, and resolve problems in a timely manner.

•Positive and friendly attitude, approachable and helpful.

•Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, dependable and reliable.

•Willingness to learn and to grow with the company.

•Proficient computer skills – MS Office Suite.
