With offices in LA, OC and Silicon Valley, we are growing our product offerings to build for consumers.Development Coordinator – Northern CaliforniaTJH is currently seeking a Development Coordinator to join our Land Development team.

Based in Redwood City, you will be working on multiple residential projects within the San Francisco Bay area.

You will be responsible to support for our Land Development and Forward Planning Department. You will have project management responsibilities, along with processing single family design review submittals.What You’ll Do:Coordinate, assemble and submit single family design review submittals in San Jose, Menlo Park, Cupertino, Redwood City and San Carlos. Compile multiple plan sets for submittal, fill out permit applications, pick up permits from municipalities, communicate with city staff to minimize turnaround time.Pick up corrections, submit them to the City Planning and re-submit the corrected plans to municipalities. Track submittal timeline and subconsultant deliverables.Upload all the necessary documentation Salesforce/BoxInitiate and project manage topographical survey, onsite geotechnical survey and USA marking for acquisitions. Coordinate sewer line testing.Manage realtor communication for all pre-acquisition site visits.Manage neighborhood correspondence and communication during design review process with Director of Development.Research city single family design review development standards as instructed by Director of Development.Build and maintain strong working relationships with the municipalities in which we operate.Organize time efficiently each day to maximize resourcesProvide administrative support to department as directed by manager.Responsible for purchasing business related supplies and resources.Prepare and update spreadsheets and maintains job schedules.Manage and aggregate Design Review Development Fees.Exercise initiative in organizing and completing assigned tasks according to established guidelines, safety standards and procedures, deadlines and department parameters.Solve problems by using good judgement based upon knowledge, experience, and common sense.Work collaboratively with both internal teams and external resources in order to provide the best possible custom experience.Experience & Qualifications:Demonstrates a commitment to the TJH Company Culture and Core Competencies.Degree in Business, Real Estate or Construction Management3-5 years of administrative assistant experience preferably at a homebuilderSelf-motivated with excellent time management skillsAbility to efficiently use computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Word, Outlook, etc., as well as Salesforce.Strong interpersonal skill is a must in order to build and maintain strong working relationships with the municipalities in which we operate.Ability to communicate effectively with various departmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsValid driver’s license and a good driving recordEmployment will be contingent upon successful completion of our DMV/background checkPerks/Benefits:Experienced leadership team who values the input of their peopleHealth benefits and 401KAwesome, talented employees with a phenomenal cultureBrand new Northern CA office with opportunities for growth Great opportunity for career oriented person that enjoys working in a fast paced/dynamic environment.
