Linux System Engineer at IntelliDyne, LLC in Silver Spring, MD

Minimum Required Qualifications: Minimum 6 years Linux system administration Experience working with both physical and virtual environments (VMware platform) Must be able to troubleshoot day to day operations, monitor, and improve performance through tuning of systems. Provide administration, configuration, installation, deployment and maintenance for the Linux environment. Must be able to work on-call duties as specific and on designated weekends. Experience with Linux server builds, hardening, patching, and system upgrades, preferably RHEL. Comfortable with an architecture supporting databases (preferably oracle) and other applications, file system permissions and security, data backup and recovery (Tape Library), as well as a Storage Area Network (SAN). Have basic knowledge and skills with networking such as switching, routing, IP addressing, etc. Must have a fully adjudicated DoD SecretSalary Range: $100K — $150K *Minimum QualificationSystem & Network Administration
