About the roleWe are looking for a New Business Coordinator to join the Psyop family!

The New Business Coordinator will play an integral role in all aspects of Psyop’s production pipeline by providing exemplary support to the Executive Production team.

Duties will range from coordination on new projects, to maintaining and developing relationships with designers, directors and writers.

We’re looking for someone sharp and flexible, with the ability to quickly think and adapt on their feet.

Position OverviewWill be assisting the Executive Production team in all facets related to new projects.

Will assemble creative teams to create new business pitches; securing and maintaining relationships with designers, writers and directors.

Must be a self starter, with great instincts and an ability to anticipate the needs of pitch processing and EP team.

Ideal candidate has a creative point of view with excellent and discerning taste with respect to design and storytelling.

Must possess the ability to juggle multiple tasks at one time in a fast paced environment, should also have the ability to see around corners and anticipate potential problems.

Candidate must be able to be hands-on when needed and willing to pitch in at every level.

No task is beneath them.

ResponsibilitiesWork very closely with Executive Producer and Director teams throughout the entire process on new business pitches.

Responsible for all contact with designers and writers needed for a pitch from beginning to end; coordinating schedules and timelines for all pitches and internal affairs.

Handle full download of client assets throughout pitch; archival of lost pitches to key personnel Provide administrative support to EP’s and department heads including but not limited to scheduling, coordinating travel, invoices, expense reports.

Maintain and manage Psyop’s CRM tool to track all incoming revenue and projects.

Event manager for company sales retreat.

Plan and organize company wide monthly meeting.

Manage special projects as assigned, dealing specifically with administrative or coordination issues.

ExperiencePrevious experience in a production studio or production environment is desired.

2 years of experience supporting executives in a creative studio environment.

Experience with scheduling, budgeting and actualizing.

QualificationsMust be a team player with a strong work ethic and strong communication skills.

Passion or interest in animation field.

Broad knowledge of the entertainment industry.

Ability to work on multiple projects and coordinate among the creative and production teams.

Must be self motivated and able to handle stressful situations and meet deadlines.

Must be able to work well within a team environment and take initiative.
