FLEX pre-qualifies all of our attorneys, taking the time to fully understand each attorney’s practice, depth of experience, and advising style to make sure they are perfectly positioned to be deployed into interesting and engaging projects.We are actively looking for attorneys in the San Francisco Bay area with experience in the following:3-8 years’ relevant experience (either in-house or with a law firm) in the payments industryDemonstrated experience in (1) commercial and retail payment products and systems, including ACH and card network rules, (2) fin-tech innovation and emerging digital technologies, and (3) laws and regulations impacting payments and financial services, including third party risk management and federal and state money transmission lawsExperience advising on revenue recognition in both SaaS and traditional business modelsFamiliar with the payments industry (including PCD-DSS and EMV compliance), data monetization and analytics including digital coupons, digital offers and consumer level analyticsHard working, well-organized and able to manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressuresWillingness to learn new legal subject matter areas as neededAbility to seek creative, innovative solutions for complex business mattersExcellent interpersonal skills, including the ability and desire to build relationships with othersMust be able to work independently with minimal supervisionJ.D.
