The entry-level Purchasing Analyst will report to the Director of Supply Chain.

The Purchasing Analyst will be responsible for ensuring our National Sales Team is well equipped with current Cost of Goods for stock and custom products.

They will interface with our current suppliers and identify new potential partners.

This candidate will also aid in lowering the COGS through analytical support, negotiations, and cost avoidance strategies.

Essential Duties: Reports to the Director of Supply Chain and provides support in updating and maintaining COGS Completes analytics on current spend with direction from the Category Manager and/or Director of Supply Chain in an effort to reduce the COGS Develops detailed purchasing reports to assist in developing Sourcing Strategies of various categories Review supplier bid proposals to determine the appropriate COGS, lead times and minimum order quantities to support customer needs Identify new suppliers with the best in industry quality, delivery, and pricing Negotiate COGS as needed At Trinity Packaging Supply, we have the most disruptive and relentless team in the industry.

Requirements: Fluent in verbal & written Spanish Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Related Field 1-3 years Experience in Supply Chain, Financial, or Related Role Strong Problem Solving Skills Strong Interpersonal Skills Experience Communicating with Suppliers/Vendors Self-Motivated and Customer-Centric Proven Business and Technology Acumen Excel Proficiency Excellent Communication Skills Bonus: Background in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Contracts Courses on Negotiation Green Belt or APICS Certification Learn more about working with us at Applicants who do not meet the requirements listed in this description will not be contacted.
