We are a science-based manufacturer of natural ingredients used in food products, beverages, flavors and fragrance, dietary supplements, personal care and cosmetics.

We are looking for a Quality Control Coordinator to join our team.

This person would assist our team with the planning, prioritizing, and verification of food quality to ensure food safety.

QC Techs also execute daily quality activities to assess incoming materials, work in-process, labeling, final inspections, analysis and testing of finished products, and perform sanitation responsibilities.Essential FunctionsUpdate and maintain the SOPsInteracts with purchasing, and warehouse supervisory teams to ensure reliability of food safety programsPractices and promotes GMPs and plant safety proceduresImplement procedures and forms to support quality and food safety systemsPerforming mock recallWorks with Supplier Quality on approving new suppliers and new ingredientsOther related duties as neededWork EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
