This person will serve as the backbone and director of all of a client brand’s media activities and will have a full team to support them in this effort.The success of this role will be measured by:Direct client feedback on the quality of the team’s work and the value the agency brings to the client and brand teamThe profitability of the accounts and organic growth.

The SVP will also be asked to contribute to new business as neededStaff development, employee morale and employee retentionRequired Qualifications4-year degree from an accredited university10+ years’ progressive experience within recognized media agencies 10+ years’ experience developing advertising media campaigns for brand-name Fortune 1000 brand clients across both traditional and digital media 5+ years’ experience training and managing a staff of media agency employees5+ years’ experience acting as primary client day-to-day lead contactSuccessful experience participating in and securing new business accounts for media agencyProven experience bringing innovation and new marketing concepts to clientsTablestakesA positive, customer centric attitude toward workExceptional client-facing communication and presentation skillsExceptional demonstrated client relationships (you’re still friends with past clients)Does best work in fast-paced environmentsStrong analytic skillsAbility to prioritize and adapt to changing needsMedia experience including negotiating, planning and overseeing digital media plans across tactics, from strategy through reportingStrong working knowledge of the industry and trade, sharing with co-workers and clientsFamiliarity with common media research tools like MRI, ComScore, WARC, etc.Proven project management skillsProven ability to develop strong professional relationshipsAbility to work autonomously and proactivelyMedia Planning and ExecutionOversight on all aspects of client’s media servicesCollaborates with all partners to develop new learning opportunitiesProvides meaningful insights and input into existing and emerging media opportunitiesWorking knowledge of Traditional media including TV, Radio, Print, and Outdoor MediaHas a deep understanding of available media tactics and can provide POVs as neededClient & Internal RelationshipsResponsible for managing and maintaining day to day client relationship including expectations and deliverablesTrain, motivate & develop AMD, Media Supervisors, Media Planners, Assistant Media PlannersProviding oversight to AMD and the media team to implement and manage media plan development, negotiation and/or executionWorks closely with client end to end from strategy through reporting utilizing excellent client leadership and management skillsParticipates and leads in client and partner callsEstablishes a collaborative working relationship with all cross department teamsWorks with supervisors and junior members to help manage time and ensure successful completion of all projectsCommunicationEnsures and maintains constant communication between all stakeholders (clients, vendors, internal teams)Helps develop POVs and meaningful insightsEnsures the team is regularly informed and updated regarding client needs and strategiesA Few Other ThingsDirect and develop a team, and foster an environment for growth and learningPromote a supportive working environment where ideas are welcomedFocus on problem solving and solutions, guiding the team accordinglyHelp navigate challenges and find solutions and not be afraid to ask for helpAs an Exverus Employee You Will Enjoy:Competitive compensationUnlimited paid time off policyFlexible working hours and locationsBenefits (Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k))A life.
