What you will do: The Account Supervisor position requires the ability to manage and lead paid social media for the agency’s day-to-day relationship with key client contacts.

Main day-to-day POC with clients partnering closely with media supervisor.

Ensure media briefs are complete, managing all client requests.

Develop all-up timeline calendar in partnership with Ayzenberg media team and outside creative agencies.Review and manage timelines internally and externally.

Manage all internal and external stakeholders.Run monthly burn rates on staffing and review with Account Director and Media VP.Manage, lead and drive outside creative agency partners.

Earn and keep each clients’ respect and confidence as a trusted advisor bringing value to their paid social media business through a strong commitment of success, consistent performance and the ability to develop a wide range of ideas and solutions.Acquire in-depth knowledge of, and be conversant in, each clients’ business – their key issues, competitive situation and industry trends.Demonstrate confidence and authority as the day-to-day voice of the paid social media agency team.

Effectively balance the dual expectations of your clients and the agency.

Anticipate potential relationship or expectation issues, advising the Account Director in time for the agency to act proactively.

Assist the Account Director with the development of an annual Client Development Plan.

What we’re looking for: The Account Supervisor position requires the ability to successfully focus paid social media efforts of agency personnel so that projects are completed as proposed – on time, within budget and with a minimum of disruption to daily activity of client or agency.

Outline expectations of, and communicate effectively with, agency team members.Effectively assign, delegate, coordinate and monitor the work of agency staff members assigned to client projects.Demonstrate an investment in, and communicate effectively with, the agency/client “team” to develop and support a positive mindset about the work, the client and the agency staff that is involved.

Establish rapport and trust with a range of staff members assigned to your account(s) – acknowledging the expectations of and on others, identifying team and project needs, remaining open to considering multiple points-of-view.Provide a model for project leadership, be prepared and pro-active, thorough and accurate.

Encourage and demonstrate unity behind team and agency decision-making.Effectively incorporate senior staffers from account management as well as other departments as project objectives or issues warrant.What you’ll need: At least 7-8 years of relevant experience.

Bachelor’s degree.

A deep understanding of paid social media.

Understanding of the role that strategy and digital media plays in a client’s communication mix.

Understanding and confidence at a high level on paid social media analytics.Experience leading accounts focused on content strategy and online community management, with an emphasis on social media channels is a must.Consumer and/or tech experience a plus.

Experience managing budgets and interdisciplinary account teams on sizable pieces of business.

Agency experience in managing account profitability, new business solicitation, and quality of account service and employee development.

Superior communication skills and an ability to counsel clients’ top executive management on paid social media.
