Assistant product manager

The purpose of an Assistant Product Manager is to participate in the creation of new products and features, from the idea stage to launch.

To be successful in this role, you should at least 2 years of experience in end-to-end product management.

Your main responsibilities include gathering product requirements, prioritizing feature implementations and improving overall user experience.

Our ideal candidates should combine technical background with a Business Administration or Marketing degree.

Ultimately, you’ll work with internal teams to build products that fill gaps in market and increase customer sanctification.

Analyze user needs and feedback on a continuous basis Develop specifications and functional requirements for new features, enhancements, and ideas Identify product improvement areas and involve special teams to execute changes Initiate design efforts for creating UI/UX for new features and enhancements Co-ordinate with design team to improve existing UI/UX Work with the offshore development team to build new products and make improvement to existing products Do weekly and monthly meetings with development team heads to discuss strategy and other ongoing concerns Liaison with marketing department on regular basis to identify and design campaigns around new and marketable features added to Core Work with the sales, support and consulting teams to identify and resolve applications issue daily Work with the Sales, Support, Marketing and admin departments to co-ordinates launch of new features and products Coordinate with the offshore development team daily to monitor progress of the Sprints Create professional and accurate release notes for Core products Liaison with VP of R&D and inform about the upcoming releases and current and future roadmap Liaison with VP of Marketing to discuss upcoming release and big features that need marketing push Coordinate and organize meetings at HQ to discuss user feedback and ideas on quarterly basis Coordinate with sub-Products Managers based in KO Additional Job Functions Suggest product enhancements to improve user experience Perform quality assurance controls on products Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps Prioritize the implementation of new features and set specific timelines Monitor and report on user’s reactions Participate in system configuration Frequent meetings with BQE offshore teams in PST evenings BSc in Business Administration, Marketing or similar field At least 2 years of experience in end-to-end product management Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams Strong time management skills Knowledge of Product management tools like Aha, Trello, Jira roadmap etc.
