Position Summary: Leads development and implementation of Mobile Applications City of Hope through partnership with clinical operations leadership, stakeholders, and the Medical Staff.

Serves as a liaison between ITS and the clinical end-user community to coordinate the planning, quality and benefits realization reviews, communication, transformation efforts.

Provides leadership and direct supervision to the application team leads and analysts to ensure optimization system functionality and associated work processes, and is responsible for successfully meeting the expected timelines and outcomes.

Provides strategic direction and vision for advanced technology supporting clinical workflows.

Working in collaboration with with Clinical, Operational and ITS leadership, this position is responsible for leading prioritized clinical projects and programs to a successful outcome; meeting or exceeding the established goals and objectives by working collaboratively with clinical and operational leadership.

Key Responsibilities include: Estimates and manages the scope, resources, and personnel requirements to meet the goals and objectives of the project Taking project ownership by ensuring that tasks, activities, and deliverables are completed on time per the project workplan Coordinates and facilitates design and validation sessions Reports project status to the program management team Successfully manages multiple resources Which may include City of Hope, and 3rd party resources In conjunction with the Program Director, initiates projects, makes project assignments, monitors workloads and allocates resources to meet project requirements.

Frequently reassesses project scope to ensure projects are carried out according to established plan and budget Provides direction and leadership and serves as a resource to staff on all projects.

Meets regularly to review project activities, staff performance and management strategies.

Orients department staff, evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions Troubleshoots and resolves problems, including the resolution of technical problems as needed, on an ongoing basis as they relate to the execution of project objectives Monitors and recommends adjustments and/or improvements to projects Organize and direct Medication Management focused meetings, work teams, and committees.

Provides support to adjunct Clinical Documentation working teams and committees Maintains professional growth and development and stays current on the latest trends in area of expertise through participation in educational programs, review of current literature, and attending meetings and workshops Determines training necessary for staff to maintain and enhance professional growth, development and job knowledge.

Facilitates arrangements for attendance Employees may be required to provide production support after standard business hours.

Qualifications Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration: Bachelor”s Degree Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements Five or more years healthcare experience in a dynamic, fast paced, business environment Five or more years of experience managing multiple teams, resources and/or projects Excellent interpersonal skills Working knowledge of medication management regulations and requirements, medication workflow and processes, and clinical practice guidelines Experience implementing complex healthcare projects Solid understanding of clinician adoption principles Ability to effectively communicate across all staff/management levels both written and verbally Ability to manage 3rd party resources including vendors and consultants Preferred education experience and skills : Computer Science Degree.
