Director, e-commerce analytics

This is a Full-time position in San Francisco, CA posted November 26, 2019.

Director, e-Commerce Analytics with strong experience in digital and site analytics, customer experience analytics and marketing personalization and testing sought by a national retailer based in the SF Bay Area.

This is a high-level individual contributor role that will manage vendors ultimately build a team and be responsible for the following Partner with ecommerce teams to identify opportunities to better measure, understand and transform the shopping experience and identify opportunities for profitable growth including things e.g., shopping funnel, product page optimization, new feature rollout, omni-channel integration, etc.

Work with Site Merchandising team to identify insights into product placement, photography and copy, regular vs clearance merchandise, highlighting non-suit categories, etc.

Analyze and optimize algorithmic and data science solutions such as personalization, recommendations, sort order, etc.

Identify insights and optimize traffic, landing pages, conversion, etc.

to increase site conversion and margin and marketing ROI Take ownership of measurement standards, testing roadmap, test design, interpretation of results, analytic deep dives, and recommendations for action.

Decide KPIs and frameworks for measurement across ecommerce, and work with Data PM and Data Engineering teams to productionalize new sources and joins for analytics and reporting consumption.

Requirements: Degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, operations research, computer science or engineering Minimum of eight (8) years hands-on experience in ecommerce, site and/or product analytics with at least 4 years of management experience Proficiency with Python or R Hands-on knowledge of digital analytics tools like Google Analytics or Heap Proficiency with BI/ data visualization tools like tableau or Looker Strong communication and influencing skills
