Marketers are tasked with an enormous amount of responsibility managing budgets and teams, deploying activations across varying types of media and measuring the effectiveness of their work accurately.

We seek to report on the changes that are affecting the industry and how marketers are creatively tackling them.What you will do:Oversee publishing pipeline and processes, manage calendars and timelines, ensuring content is delivered on schedule and fits within a defined and set content matrix of daily content deliverables.Create content architecture and high-level strategy to drive company KPIs and align the online presence of various company properties.Work alongside company leadership to develop key content packages, cornerstone content and advise on SEO implementation and development across sites.Use insights from analytics and community feedback to inform and optimize content to be user-first.Maintain style guide across properties and help shape and refine the voice of external-facing copy and content.Manage and supervise editors, reporters, copy resources and designers.Provide timely, constructive, tactful feedback on assignments.Ensure reporting standards and journalistic practices to serve core readership of media and marketing executives.Plan longtail content efforts, including tentpole event coverage and participation.Create and enforce contracts with external writing resources.Line edit pieces and curate graphic elements for publication.Manage a budget and roster of freelancers, including assigning budgets to section editors and regularly commissioning stories.Work with Director of Content Operations to maximize distribution of content across platforms and paid media.Manage editorial staffing and resourcing, working with Operations and HR for critical needs.Facilitate ongoing training for the team/company, identifying opportunities for individual training as well.Contribute as-needed to client-facing content strategy projects.Contribute to high-profile copy projects as-needed.Write a weekly subscriber letter that delves into reporting each week.Develop video content with creative and community leads, shaping the direction and editorial focus of all video content.Contribute to weekly operational reports and provide analysis on progress, trends and recommendations.Represent AList at press events and industry functions, as needed.What You’ll Need: Strong knowledge and interest in marketing and media.5+ years working in an online publishing environment Content management experience with strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail.Experience managing staff, budgets, and hands-on content development Experience with business journalism is a plus.Strong ability to prioritize and shift as needs change.Knowledge of SEO, PPC, content strategy, and CRO.Ability to adhere to brand compliance guidelines.
