Director of Engineering San Francisco Bay Area Base Salary + Equity The Company: This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing start-ups in San Francisco that are empowering small business to take the next jump for their business.

You will be responsible for hiring a whole team of engineers to help build the platform as the company reaches out to new lines of business and creates new functionalities for the platform.

As the director, you will leverage your technical expertise on the backend to help support critical business functions across your team.

The Role: As the Director of Engineering: Be a hands on leader who can set up a stack and be responsible for the backend services Lead a team of talented engineers as they work across the stack and create new technologies Be responsible for hiring new team members and mentoring them for their career growth Work with internal stakeholders to identify new solutions and areas to dive into Work across the backend systems which includes but is not limited to the API level and security Support the growth of the product and engineers – be the leader you want to be!
