Facilities Operations ManagerWho We AreAt E Pluribus Fusion (“EPF�?), we have unprecedented inside access to professional sports league’s video, tracking data, and stadiums.

Founded by industry-leading experts in sports analytics, our values include keeping technical debt low, striving for excellence, and learning and growing as engineers.What You Will Be DoingAs part of the EPF Operations team, you will manage our San Francisco office facilities budget and oversee our daily facility operations including corporate purchasing, office moves/space planning, outsourced janitorial services, supervising the front desk, and coordinating external on-site contractors. What You’ll OwnPlan, organize, maintain, and manage the operations and reliability of EPF facilities.

Establish and monitor preventative maintenance and facility inspection processes, such as the physical maintenance & supplemental systems of EPF office facilities.Manage the assignment of workspaces in our San Francisco headquarters and regional locations in compliance with established standards to ensure that workspaces are being used appropriately and sufficient space can be allocated for projected human resource demands.Develop, recommend, and administer policies, procedures, facilities, and operations processes by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments.Identify, recommend, and manage administrative vendors related to workspace furnishings, janitorial, cabling, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, movers, and other contracted work in the San Francisco headquarters.

Administer department vendor contracts and maintain vendor relations.Administer procurement activities associated with operations and building maintenance activities, such as contracts for custodial and maintenance related work.

Monitor spending on project and cost account basis, recommend and implement corrective spending plans, review quotes, proposals and contracts and negotiate and obtain price quotes and bids and/or performing other related activities.Participate in the development and administration of operations and facilities budget; review and recommend cost savings efforts.Trouble-shoot and respond to after-hour issues as needed regarding the operational aspects of the facilities such as electrical outages, water leaks, etc.Liaise with building property managers, superintendents, engineering, and building security staff at EPF offices to ensure lease compliance.Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of processes and procedures to enhance quality and ensure continual process improvement.Gather and analyze data and information to create and manage reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department, keeping management informed by reviewing and analyzing reports, summarizing information, and identifying trends to provide efficiencies and optimize the departmental budget.Manage the use of physical storage assets to ensure effective inventory management.Recruit, train & lead the HQ safety team members and circulate office emergency action plans; receive and respond appropriately to emergencies at EPF offices, 24/7.Serves as a liaison with other departments, vendors, and external agencies in order to provide information and available resources and or other services.Schedule travel and receive guests, maintain appearance of office, and plan company events.Perform other similar or related duties which may not be specifically included within this position description, but which are consistent with the general level of the job and the responsibilities described.What You Need to SucceedAssociate or Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of five years of relevant work experienceUtilize creative thinking, problem-solving, and analytic skills to gather and evaluate data to address and improve Administration processes, procedures and resolve daily challenges.Ability to work independently and lead projects; ability to take initiative, think strategically and work creativelyDemonstrated experience successfully managing and leading a small team.
