Our company is over 100 years old and robustly growing.Summary: The Manager, Engineering Maintenance is responsible providing leadership and direction to the Engineering Maintenance team.

Responsibilities include but not limited to GMP plant maintenance activities such as the installation of machines, equipment, preventive maintenance and general cleanliness and overall upkeep of our GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing plants.10 YEARS EXP.

REQUIREDEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms engineering project management work to include preparing budgets for maintenance projects, overseeing project execution, resolving complex work problems, recommending contract change orders for all GMP areas.Regularly checks and inspects machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.

Collaborates with production, quality control to plan, modify and schedule repairs, maintenance activities and installation of equipment to ensure continuous productions operations.Provides hands on technical support for troubleshooting, problem solving activities and maintenance repair to GMP systems to limit production downtime.Ensures all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and controlled environment.Responsible for meeting or exceeding all quality and regulatory standards, policies or specifications.Responsible for oversight of all GMP equipment and systems maintenance, cleanliness and comfort by keeping all electrical and mechanical systems in good operating conditions. Responsible for ongoing inspection of GMP facilities to determine need for repairs or replacement of equipment.Collaborate with Human Resources to develop, support and grow staff to achieve company and personal growth goals.Support scale up efforts from R&D of new pharmaceutical products.Support Regulatory and Safety Compliance Programs.Responsible for GMP compliance of CMMS system.Establish a facility and environment that sets the tone for our team to successfully manufacture and distribute high quality pharmaceutical products.Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 1 supervisor and 10 employees.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Education and/or ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in engineering or science related discipline preferred; minimum 10 years hands on GMP maintenance management experience in a FDA regulated Pharmaceutical or Medical Device environment required; or equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong mechanical and electrical skillsMust be an proficient in managing GMP systems such as Equipment Change Control, Investigations, Calibrations and Maintenance.Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs.Project planning experience with ability
