You’ll join our talented, fun and diverse Product Strategy team to create products and solutions will span all asset classes, investment strategies, outcome-orientations and vehicle structures.


Read on for more details.The Manager, Product Strategy will report to the Director of Product Strategy.

You will work cross-functionally to define the vision, scope, and roadmap for product solutions targeting clients on the AssetMark platform.

As an individual contributor, you will collaborate across investment, distribution, and support organizations to forward through the full cycle of strategy/ideation, research/design, client feedback, and business case development to enhance our product and solution capabilities for financial advisors and their clients.

At times you will partner closely with Product Management and Development teams on implementation, market positioning, distribution strategy, and campaign management. Required Skills and Abilities: A bachelor’s degree is required, ideally in Finance, Economics or Business; MBA is a plus Minimum of 3 years of experience in product strategy and development of investment platform, brokerage and/or bank platform services and account capabilitiesGeneral knowledge of investment products such as mutual funds, ETFs, and/or managed accounts; Knowledge of RIA & Broker-Dealer distribution channels a plus Business intelligence: Develop metrics, dashboards, and forums that help us measure progress towards our goals and foster deep understanding of our business.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office® (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are a must.

Financial services tools, such as Tableau, Bloomberg and Morningstar Direct a plusCFA charter or progress toward a CFA charter is desirable  What You’ll Bring:Proven aptitude to think creatively and strategically to problem solve, to meet client needs, and to achieve profitability goalsAbility to execute complex analyses of large, diverse and potentially ambiguous data-sets and qualitative inputsYou are excited by a fast-paced environment and the accountability that comes with owning important products and/or projectsStrong aptitude to help create and present compelling business cases with supporting analytics to diverse audiences You are comfortable with ambiguity, iterative processes, and you understand and accept that not all projects see the light of day. You can tackle large data sets and distill them into meaningful and actionable drivers. You are collaborative but comfortable to take the wheel and drive solo. You can support your recommendations with succinct analytics, both qualitative and quantitative.

You require little direction to accomplish goals. You place the success of the team, group and firm before self. You view everything through a lens of incremental value added to the company’s bottom line. Your general knowledge of the financial services industry is a plus in searching for the drivers of client purchase.
