Overview:The Operations Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all internal CMC activities required to enable consistent CMO manufacturing.Specific Responsibilities:Partner with Global Technical Operations leadership to establish a comprehensive, functionally-integrated, end-to-end manufacturing timelineIn collaboration with internal project teams and external CMO teams:Implement manufacturing planIdentify and manage critical path activities and resourcesIdentify and manage interdependencies and hand-offsIdentify and proactively mitigate roadblocksIdentify and document risks, likelihoods, severities, and key mitigationsFacilitate contingency planningCapture and communicate progress; escalate potential delays with proposed solutionsCommunicationResponsible for all project team documentation: agendas, minutes, timelines, scorecards, and dashboardsFacilitate internal project team meetingsAttend weekly working team calls with CMOsPresent project updates, issues, options, and recommendations to functional Senior ManagementEscalate project issues and risks to functional Senior Management in a timely fashionCollaborate with personnel across Global Technical Operations and other key functions (e.g., purchasing, finance, legal, product development teams) to ensure alignment around key business objectivesEnsure that projects adhere to agreed-upon scope, timelines, resources, and budgetCollaborate with Product Development Teams and Manufacturing Technical Leads on Requests for Information and Requests for ProposalsRepresent Global Technical Operations on cross-functional teams  Qualifications:Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with internal and external stakeholdersExpertise using Project Management software to manage timelines, resources, risks, and costsAbility to rapidly integrate new information into existing plansExcellent written, communication and organizational skills.Prior experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, development-stage companyAbility to achieve business results with colleagues of diverse levels, functional expertise, skills, and priorities: effective as both a team player and a team leaderTake a hands-on, “roll up your sleeves” approachDrive, facilitate, track, anticipate, influence, and implementCraft solutionsProvide Senior Management with timely, candid, and accurate information, options, and recommendationsUndergraduate degree in a scientific, medical or business discipline.

A postgraduate qualification (e.g., Ph.D., MBA, MS) will be a distinct advantage.CAPM or PMP certificate is a plusKnowledge of project management methodologies, concepts and techniques is required5+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience, with direct exposure to manufacturing operations
