Olivia Travel, headquartered in San Francisco, is the largest travel company, specializing in cruise, resort, luxury and adventure vacations for LGBTQ+ women worldwide.

Olivia has taken over 350,000 women on over 350 vacations around the world.Olivia’s Program/Event Manager will be responsible for creating, planning and executing programs and events for company’s cruise and resort vacation experiences in collaboration with the company’s Travel Team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized individual with an understanding of producing event experiences from conception to completion.

If you are someone that can see the “big picture�? of an event and manage all the small details in between, then this job is for you! RESPONSIBILITIES:Create, plan, implement travel programming for cruises and resortsCollaborate with the entertainment and production team as it relates to the on-trip experienceEffectively communicate and interface with cruise line and resort partners regarding on trip programmingManage the on trip daily programs ensure successful execution of all events – to include but not limited to the creation of trip documents such as programs and team schedules, introducing events and moreAct as Team Manager on select cruise and resort vacations (teams can consist of up to 20 individuals), to include contracting, air travel, staff uniforms and other team logisticsManage creation of guest gifts and on trip merchandiseTravel on cruise and resort vacations and participate in trip inspections as assignedWork with team to collate and ship all trip suppliesOther duties as required QUALIFICATIONS:The successful candidate will possess the following qualities: Bachelor’s degree and 4+ year’s work experience in the travel industry, to include knowledge of leisure travel and international destinations (previous work on board cruise ships, at resorts or leading major events is a plus)Well-honed public speaking skills and on-stage experience with the ability to address large groups of peopleKnowledge of booking air travel Experience with managing event teams and schedulingExperience with managing promotional products and merchandiseCreative, forward thinking, highly motivated with superb attention to detail and incredible organization skillsExperience in managing multiple projects with impeccable time management and the ability to meet deadlinesShows leadership, initiative and commitment to career path with the desire to learn new skillsProfessional demeanor, strong work ethic, dependable with the ability to work gracefully under pressureMust be able to travel extensively and as assignedAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, as well as Adobe InDesignKnowledge and/or experience in the LGBTQ+ community a plus Olivia provides a generous benefits package including health, dental and long-term disability insurance, matching 401(k), paid vacation days, holidays and sick days.
