As a Project Manager, you’ll have the chance to lead project teams through all phases of the Project Management Lifecycle.

Responsibilities Lead project teams through all phases of the Project Management Lifecycle.Collaborate with Project Owner and Executive Sponsor for problem resolution, negotiation, and decision making.Facilitate complex projects/programs from design and development to production.Define requirements and plans project lifecycle deployment.Interact with project team members and managers to drive all aspects of project planning and scheduling of project deliverables, goals, and milestones.Effectively identify and create strategies to remove roadblocks, resolve problems, mitigate risks, and plan for contingencies.

Ensure capture of relevant project documentation including workflows, procedures, project decisions, lessons learned, and scorecards.Provide regular, clear, direct, and respectful communication of project status to stakeholders, internal and external.Demonstrate an ability to lead others in project and task execution.Exhibit an ability to organize, lead and motivate assigned project personnel and facilitate development of an effective team-oriented work group.Possess a basic understanding of business operations and the supporting technology being used to support the operations.Proven presentation and facilitation skills when working with key stakeholders and management of all areas of the credit union.Work experience must demonstrate the ability to concurrently manage multiple projects of moderate size, scope, and complexity.Proficient in Workfront or other professional project-management tools.

QualificationsBachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Information Technology, Project Management or related field and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Completion of a college-level approved Project Management curriculum or five years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar methodology preferred.Scrum Master Certification, or similar methodology, preferred.Minimum of three years of project management related experience to include proficiency in planning, managing and implementing projects including developing project scope, goals, work plans, timelines, implementation strategies and measurement processes for assessing progress toward strategic and/or tactical goals and project outcomes.Experience with monitoring project related contract terms and / or engaged third party vendors.

Must be detail-oriented with the ability to manage and juggle multiple projects.

Persistent and dependable, especially in meeting deadlines; able to manage multiple competing priorities.Ability to influence and collaborate with others for successful outcomes.Experience working with Agile environments desired.Promotes active listening with team members and contributes appropriately to conversations.

Accurately prepares written business correspondence which is grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging.

Ability to effectively present information and correspond with managers, employees, and members.

Requires a proficient working knowledge of information technology concepts, practices, terminology, and standards, with ability to actively conduct and/or engage in hardware and software related discussions relative to all assigned projects.

Demonstrated ability to interpret and translate technical and/or or complex concepts into information meaningful to project team members and/or business personnel.Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to support the business owner with the presentation of business cases and / or other project related matters to Senior Management.Valid California driver’s license is required.University and State Employees Credit Union is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
