Regional sales manager

This is a Full-time position in Redwood City, CA posted December 17, 2019.

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the overall sales revenue in theWestern US region.

The ideal profile for this role is an individual who has at least ten or moreyears of solution selling experience in the technology marketplace.

Preferred candidates willhave a strong history of a proven track record of consistent sales success in developing andmaintaining global enterprise accounts within large territories.

SaaS sales experience andanalytics solution selling are preferred.

A strong background and acumen in developing new sales opportunities within a green field territory as well as maintaining long-term account/territory management are necessary.

Additionally, candidates will have a strong history and background of working closely with partners to develop a differentiated position.Responsibilities: Build and/or develop comprehensive sales initiatives within a region. Create and maintain high-level executive relationships and to increase my client’svisibility and drive business solutions. Identify opportunities for new business, expansion into untapped markets andcommunicate resource Become the end person within the region to drive revenue across my client’sproduct segments with additional available resources (Solution Consultants, ConsultingServices, Marketing). Build cross-functional relationships within my client’s to ensure timely and accurateforecasting. Other tasks will include sales plan reviews, weekly forecasting reviews, and quarterlysales reviews with the sales management team.Requirements: Ten or more years outside or inside sales with a successful sale track record in selling softwaresolutions and/or services into large enterprise accounts in the marketplace. Experience in solution selling methodology and ability to communicate effectively to C-Suite. Experience in both start-ups and larger technology companies is a plus. Must have excellent people skills/influencing ability and efficiency in sustainable businessrelationships.

Education: Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
