Overview: Our client is a high growth, innovative and international food company offering an exciting and expanding range of well-received & market-leading food products.

Focusing on the “better for you” category has led to significant business growth which has resulted in the need to recruit a high caliber Regional Sales Manager for the Western USA to drive strategies that will increase retail sales, distribution and profit further.

Reporting into the US Retail Sales Director this role will be a key member of the sales team.

Key responsibilities in this high-profile and broad role will include: Building, implementing and driving strategies that will grow retail sales, distribution and drive profits for the brand within the Western USA Region.

Understanding and analyzing the needs of key customer relationships and with that insight enhancing long term and value-added relationships.

Developing new customers thorough collaboration with key brokers and distributors and through partnership with the internal brand teams and marketing.

Managing key retail accounts and lead the commercial development of the brand portfolio and innovation within the region.

Developing and executing market and account plans to achieve corporate sales and business goals.

Oversee commercial and promotional execution, budget allocation and evaluation on ROI.

Suitable candidates will have 4-7+ years progressive sales experience within the food industry.

You will have experience of managing high profile retail accounts and launching new brands and products into the market.

You will also be a passionate self-starter, hands-on when needed, team player and looking for a role where you can set the pace and really leave your own mark in an informal, agile entrepreneurial environment.

You will have natural influencing skills, which you’ll use to build strong relationships and coordinate a diverse portfolio of stakeholders.

This role can be based in any major city in the West, Midwest or Texas regions and you will need to travel domestically for meetings and to attend trade shows and networking events.
