Position Summary: The Sr.

Manager, Tax, reporting directly to the VP, Global Tax, will be primarily responsible for US tax reporting, including US Federal, State, and local tax returns and tax accounting, including compliance, while directly supporting the activities for tax planning initiatives, tax expense forecasting, and other initiatives as required to directly support the business unit and department needs.

Responsibilities: Manage the preparation and review of U.S.

federal and state income and franchise tax filings and ensure timely submission Manage all aspects of the Company’s worldwide ASC 740 income tax provision process, accounting and related financial statement disclosures.

Explains and discusses these items with senior management and the independent auditors.

Conduct analysis and documentation for ASC 740-10 FIN 48 reserves Ensure Company’s income tax accounting review and documentation processes and related systems are in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley internal control requirements, driving towards a best-in-class SOX infrastructure Forecasting and analysis of quarterly and annual effective tax rates.

Work with FP&A to improve forecasting ability by legal entity.

Assist with management with direct & indirect tax planning for all solar development projects.

Supporting business unit needs by providing tax guidance and review project models.

Assist with special projects as necessary, such as tax research, tax planning strategies, forecasts, credits, mergers & acquisitions, etc.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher in tax or finance.

CPA preferred, Masters in Taxation or LLM in Taxation a plus.

8+ years of work experience, with a minimum of 5-7 years compliance experience in public accounting firm or equivalent experience in tax department of a large corporation preferred.

Strong technical proficiency in ASC 740.

Transfer pricing experience is a plus.

Must be a detail-oriented, organized thinker with strong accounting, analytical and computer skills.

High degree of accuracy and proven ability to meet deadlines in a time sensitive environment.

Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel, across functions, organizations, and with external contacts.

Must be willing to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.

Ability to work cross-functionally, collaboratively and cross-culturally.
